2009 S600 W221 Antifreeze drain/replace Turbo Intercoolers
Hello, I would like to drain and refill the antifreeze for the two intercoolers and both turbos.
Does anyone have a work instruction for this procedure?
I have an Air Vac Coolant Kit. It worked flawlessly for refilling the engine antifreeze after draining. No air in system.
I have read on the forum the engine cooling circuit is separate from the turbo intercooler circuit.
Does the intercooler circuit have its own pump?
Where would a person drain the intercooler circuit?
There are two Schrader valves at the highest points on the intercooler circuit. Use Schrader to bleed the air out?
Would the Air Vac Coolant Kit refill the intercooler circuit with no air and done?
Thanks in advance,
Johnny

Found a YouTube video for an S65 Amg, very similar to the V12 S600.
In summary:
The V12 has a separate turbo intercooler cooling circuit (aka low temperature cooling loop) from the engine cooling system. Turbo intercooling circuit has an electric circulation pump.
The turbo itself (aka high temperature cooling loop) is part of the engine oil cooling loop. No pump for flow, engine oil pressure provides oil flow.
Take the hose loose on the low temperature intercooler electric pump, remove fill cap and drain.
Reconnect hose.
Use the vacuum machine to fill up the reservoir and lines.
Remove the trapped air in top of both intercoolers.
Connect up a non collapsible hose Y connection with two Schrader valves connectors to the Schrader valves on top of each intercooler.
The Y connector is connected to a water trap tank. That tank is connected to the Venturi vacuum generator.
Pull a vacuum on water trap, jumper intercooler motor to run, crack open each valve in the Y connectors to each intercooler, until all of the air bubbles and some antifreeze are removed inside top of the intercoolers.
Top off reservoir and repeat until full of antifreeze with no air bubbles.
