Hi!

I need to get a new battery to replace the under-the-hood aux14-200 on my 2007 S550.

Here's what I would normally get.

Here's what I'm considering, purely because it's available right now.

They seem to have identical specs (physical and electrical), and the terminals look similar. As far as I can tell, they're the same thing, but different marketing (one for cars, the other for motorcycles). What am I missing?

The terminals in both your links are wrong.
You need the round lead terminal posts.

Thanks @Jaap You're right, they're both wrong, and they're both too small too. I have gone down a rabbit hole and realised that the battery I need is a group V4, ended up following another guide here and installed a group 47 myself.
