2007 s550 strange parasitic draw
noticed that if i sit in the car after i have turned it off, within a minute or two i hear clicking sound under the passenger dash foot well along with another clicking type of sound coming from the main dash where the tach is... the tach will actually just barley move when the sound is made... this goes on probably while the car is sitting......does it about every 15-20 seconds once it starts

instrument clusters wear out on most brands these days - usual rubbish on modern designed to fail components, are aged solder joints and cheap capacitors that blow up
odd clicking and whirring for 7 minutes is normal on a 221 wobbly tacho isn't
