2013 to 2017 Engine Swap Questions!!!
I have 2013 s550 with 108k on it cylinder 4 scoring and knocking. I found 2017 GLS 550 with low miles. I wanted your help if I can swap this engine on my car? Is it direct fit or can not be done.. your input is appreciated. If this don't work which car model engine fits? 4matic if I change the oil pan would it work?

check parts catalogue - if most of the main bits fit u have a chance... but in all those years loads of ancillary castings / mounting and engine management bits will have evolved
in the days of CAD and design to fail, they push all the aggro of the supply chain on to third parties and change everything every other day - its not a small block Chevy that's been in production for 60 years - these days its more like 6 minutes...
