NOT coolant leak... Washer fluid from the head-light washer nozzle. That's a good news... I can take it on my 1st road trip next few weeks and put some miles to it, so far 41.5k. Let's see what the average gas mileage on the long hiway road trip. So far, around 20-22 mpg on hiway and 12-15 mpg side streets. That's very similar to my previous w220; sometimes, 26-28 mpg on hiway road trips with average speed 65-75 mph. Just want to track it for the fun of comparison with the EQS580. Of course... just for fun of knowledge and comparison sakes... and for unintended conversation with my friends.

The grommet at the bottom of the windshield washer reservoir needs replacing. When temps go down, they weep a little. Either replace that grommet or simply wait til Spring. Not expensive.

A yellow warning of anti-lock brake system popped up on and off during the trip. What cause? I still don't have MB Star PC yet... may be it's time to invest in one.

I have a 2011 S550 4matic that I bought as a CPO in 2013 with 15k miles. When I bought it I downloaded a mileage tracking app and for the 1st 14,000 miles averaged 20.4 mpg overall. About that time I was looking through the menus and found that the mileage calculator had been reset when I bought the car and for the same time frame and miles the read out said 20.4 mpg!! I was amazed at the accuracy. I've never had a vehicle where the mpg on the vehicle was that exact. At 160k miles I'm now averaging 21.6 mpg. I believe the EPA rating was 15 city, 21 highway, 17 combined.

Need front brakes kits: FCP has Akebono and Bosch Ceramic Low Dust Brake Pad, which is btter choice, difference ~$23? or any suggestion? Ceramic or OEM? I have AMG pakage, any different on the brakes or rotors? TIA

Akebono ceramic only for me. No dust! Rotors are cheap enough and even easier to replace, can't really go wrong with either.
