aftermarket units are budget junk, that are usually illegal with naff beam patterns
Chinese tat always says its legal - it never is - but the testing certs, stickers, other labeling and legal claims are always 100% genuine fakes
the idea of lights are to allow the driver to see where they are going and for others to see you and not get dazzled - the looks of a car only matter to the insecure idiot behind the wheel - no one else has ever given a toss and never will (unless they too need therapy - not cosmetic enhancement)

:will these work" and are there any options you all know of..
to me being called an insecure idiot .. and people chiming in on the style of those particular headlights
- I asked about compatibility
- I did not ask about YOUR preference
thanks for nothing

(which I have)
I want to know if anyone has gotten aftermarket headlights for this model/year
because there are absolutely no aftermarket lights that are with Factory Bi-Xenon HID (Active Curve & Night Vision System) and Halogen Headlight Models
I don't care about Active Curve & Night Vision System
the lights in the listing were an example ..
if you look on a chassis decode site it will give you a clue what systems that car already has (check around option # from 600)

as for the elements you took offense too - you could choose to see the positives - I was seeking to save you time and money...
that is a bummer
that website could not decode my vin
that is a bummer
not used this one https://www.vindecoderz.com/EN/Mercedes-Benz
can't give definitive answer on potential errors - these car's (221s) love to play games with us and present a significant challenge - and if you join the club we have BenzNinja to fight the car in to submission under the right circumstances
I have come to the conclusion that these headlights are integrated with tons of systems in the car .. and do wayy more than i thought they did
so it looks like im sticking with stock
HOWEVER
my rear tail lights have dead spots in them .. so anyone have a source for those?
