OEM light units are always high quality, long lasting legal units, with a reasonable beam pattern
aftermarket units are budget junk, that are usually illegal with naff beam patterns
Chinese tat always says its legal - it never is - but the testing certs, stickers, other labeling and legal claims are always 100% genuine fakes
the idea of lights are to allow the driver to see where they are going and for others to see you and not get dazzled - the looks of a car only matter to the insecure idiot behind the wheel - no one else has ever given a toss and never will (unless they too need therapy - not cosmetic enhancement)
OEM headlamp unit is unique and unmistakable to any Mercedes-Benz model. Those at the link looks like derived from any Mercedes-Benz model car . It's up to you , it's your car

Only the little LEDs are made by Nichia - Japan, the rest is Chinesium.

Yah, I see why you are bummed...needless commentary that people would not say to each other face to face in the real world. Let's keep it kind, people. I'd call the office in CA and ask to talk with an engineer. It is a small enough place that you probably could. It is tough to answer your question, because we don't know how good the lamp's engineering is. Their 60 day satisfaction guarantee should give you plenty of time to try it out. Go for it, and let us know how it goes.

because there are absolutely no aftermarket lights that are with Factory Bi-Xenon HID (Active Curve & Night Vision System) and Halogen Headlight Models

the systems involved making high end w221s behave, is likely why the manu is stating clearly the lights are only compatible with low spec ones (fitted with few options). whilst you currently state you're uninterested in curve light and night vision - if the car already has some of these features you may well become interested when messages pop on the cluster nagging you about issues the change has created
if you look on a chassis decode site it will give you a clue what systems that car already has (check around option # from 600)
can't give definitive answer on potential errors - these car's (221s) love to play games with us and present a significant challenge - and if you join the club we have BenzNinja to fight the car in to submission under the right circumstances
So this got my thinking about headlamps. Mine are okay, except I had to do some surgery on the rubber moldings on the top. I took a look at part availability for new ones (W216, not W221). The right is discontinued, and left still available. But all are headed towards extinction. I picked up some new Magneti Marelli headlamps. For you W216 people, there's one set left--might be your last chance at a new set anywhere. If the seller knew the right one was discontinued and not available anywhere else, he'd probably hike up the price to hostage negotiation levels.
