dreaded inlet manifold issue
Hi peoples

2009 S550

I had a P2005 pop up. It is intermittent so I believe there are no broken bits yet. I started reading and I think I understand the issue but I am not sure if there is and preventative maintenance that can be done. Would a seafoam application clean out some gum? Can the flaps be lubricated? And/or preemptive replacement of the plastic actuator bits? Or just plan on replacing the inlet manifold in the near future? Rock Auto has a reasonable made-in-Germany manifold.

If there is a detailed thread, please point me in that direction.
