Missing cabin filters.
Who does this ??? Why ???
This is a car with extensive records from MB till about 80k miles. Then the second owner briefly then me.

My car was serviced at dealerships and when I replaced mine they actually had a fair amount of debris and dust in them.

Agree, some technician ran out of waiting time on his own Parts department.
Betting another Mercedes service manager could pull up that bill for the invisible cabin filters.
Consider yourself lucky. My Dealer did a Filter, Flush, and Fill on my 5 speed auto-transmission at 75K miles. Second filter flush and fill since 45K miles. Unfortunately, they were great on the filter and the flush; not so good on the fill. A week later, transmission overheated. Lack of fluid. I used the extended warranty to have a trusted Indy (I will never go to a Dealer again ever) buy a transmission from Mercedes and install it. Warranty firm sent an adjuster who studied the codes and inspected the transmission when it was on the bench. Covered the trans but refused a new torque converter. I wanted all OEM and new/refurb Mercedes parts. Ended up costing $9200 for trans and TC and Labor with warranty paying $5200. Dealer lost a customer forever. They didn't really care either.
it vastly reduces dust levels in the car
keeps pollen and small insects outside
the activated charcoal reduces the exterior smells coming into the car
if you have the rear seat temp controls (with the optional rear AC unit), it also comes with a traffic fume sniffer to automatically trigger the recycle
people that drive in very dusty areas - and who forget to manually move to recycle, clog the pollen filters - and think they are clever by throwing them away - but then clog the heater matrix and AC evaporator instead (which is really sensible !)

As far as the windshield goes, make sure you clean it well!! Then I usually put a nice coat of Glaco. For about 6 months hardly need wipers to come on no matter the amount of rain coming down but when they do, smooth as baby's butt.

Oh I cleaned it and cleaned it. They star out fine in rain but within minutes the start being noisy and skippy. I don’t want to bend the arms as mentioned on YouTube. I tried. Rainex but it’s not a permanent solution.
have to try claying the windshield or using wd40 on wipers. Or try MB wipers at $70
