Fuse help

So I am chasing down a leaking airline to the RR wheel and found hissing from under the start battery. While I have the battery out and removing the tray I sparked the positive line and now have no power it seems to anything when I had dash etc.... thoughts on where to start looking?

What did the positive line spark to?
Get your owner's manual out and check every single fuse(box) listed in there.

Time to check fuses. I would start with MAIN fuse in series with the positive battery cable...

might be worth reading this - are you aware of the vastly bigger and more powerful battery in the boot ? was this what got the sparks up front?

mercs often have pre-fuse boxes with big amp fuse links designed to pop when something nasty happens - till you find and resolve any of these, power to multiple circuits will have gone walkabout

Botus I think you were spot on. I disconnect the accessory battery and dug into the "pre fuse" assembly and check all of the hidden fuses and also messes with the capacitor in there, discharged/charged it.... I then went and and put it all carefully back together and everything is now fine 😁. Once I was back at step one I found the checky ******* line that had hardened up with a slight bend in which was giving me my intermittent leaks the the RR wheel. Thanks to all that weighed in on my distress call! IT IS 🥛TIME, CHEERS!

leaking right rear air line was a build fault on early ones - scored the line fitting it in the factory - the correct fix is to replace the entire line front to back - merc don't permit mid line fixes

On that note, nuts, ferrules, and unions spliced into convenient locations can allow for the replacement of as long a run as you wish without having to replace an entire line.

That is what I am thinking from here out, I will have the line on hand to replace the whole run next time which I know will happen unfortunatley... On that anyone know the diameter of the airline for the lumbar system for non dynamic seats? Asking for a friend 😁

I just cut a broken section out from under my seat and took it to Ace Hardware and found the clear vinyl tubing that was a snug fit over it and grabbed a bunch of that. I've got clear vinyl tubing all over the driver seat Lol

but hey it works

I tried the same but I believe my tubing was to big this not getting to good pressure it's the added volume in the line, I am going to use the kit I bought and do some jumper testing to the seat and see how it goes. Doe anyone have the diagram for non dynamic seats? My rear headrest would not drop either and I cannot tell where the 2 different color lines go from the pump and the relay does click when I hit the drop button....
