M273 S550 vs Police

Might be the first and last time we'll ever get see something like this, so I'm posting.

Interesting to see just how ineffective a PIT maneuver is on an S Class. That Benz ain't gonna spin like a crackhead's old, clapped out truck. Even with the old M273, that 5000lb boat still easily pulls away from the cruisers.

This guy went to considerable effort at winning the room temperature challenge. Good riddance and glad no law enforcement or other civilians were hurt.

Explorers with the Police package. Eco-Boost turned up some. Didn't figure the 221 Bent eight would gap the Police so easily. Of course a big part of that could be the perp lacking self preservation. He had already shot and killed a woman. Looks like Airmatic made for a fairly nice ride over those horrible roads.

One less thug on the streets and proof that a 16+ year old Benz is a tank.

Does the ESP help when a pit maneuver is attempted?

that is a very interesting point - I guess it must

other observations

at one point it gets very squirrelly coming off a bump - I guess traction / ESP calmed that moment
leaving plod for dead, is no real surprise, 386bhp is about 200 more than most American's can safely handle
I thought it was a catastrophe over one speed bump - it was so bad I looked at the plod car to see how much better it would manage things

Those Ford Explorers are pretty tough, they're reinforced to take a rear end hit at motorway speeds (some states have 85mph limits and that includes trucks) and the V6 Eco boost is pretty lively in full fat tune.

Mechanical sympathy is obviously an alien concept though... Shooting through the windscreen demonstrates red mist levels of retardery.

That said, the W221 is pretty agile, even with the stupid wheelbase.

probably not during the attempt, but in the immediate aftermath. I am not a Leo, and I can’t speak on authority here, but I imagine that this technique has been developed with that fact in mind - that most modern cars have stability systems that might counteract a very slow pit maneuver. So speed of maneuver would be the essence of a successful one.

ESP might’ve helped Payday out two or three times but the last one on blown rims it’ didn’t.

I've owned 3.

All Vauxhall Omega 3.2 V6 estates with manual transmissions.

I used one, purchased with 100k miles on it and 4.5 years old, as a taxi cab. Went to 265k miles and sold still on its original engine, trans and diff.

Don't be afraid of a well used, well maintained car😉

As you can see; the definition of “use” varies between the Glendale, WI Police Department and that of your local constabulary. They write off one, maybe two cruisers in this one chase alone.

The one that became a taxi was an accident investigation unit, so wasn't used as a battering ram and was bought straight out of service.

Another, that had been used as a traffic unit, had £12k of bodywork after a spot of off roading through a fence and a brand new crate engine and trans after some rookie caught 1st instead of 5th passing through a hundred... I bought that car from its second owner, who happened to be a force mechanic and had saved all the defect sheets and repair orders... Point being the usage doesn't matter if you know what you're buying.

The problem with modern cops is even with a helicopter in the air they're too ignorant and arrogant to take the rest of society into consideration. Until we end qualified immunity Society will not be safe from the police or the criminals. It is truly terrifying how many of the police are criminals.

the UK police are the rapists... its why most join now - the ability to go around at night to molest women - policing as it was meant to be ended here 50 years ago - alongside real elections and a pretending the banking industry was there to help

today’s "optimistic future" is the ending of the original matrix movie - the real ending you will be offered was demonstrated with the man made death that was Covid - the issue was we had far to many Blue pill takers out there - and now its game over, the lemming's tracking devices only peddle Blue....

"...of late"?

The problem is people ignoring truth because it's "dark", acquiescing to the power dons because "dark" is too scary for them to deal with, and carrying on like just another day. This is precisely the attitude the Epstein Class relies on to operate. I'm afraid no real radical positive change will ever occur until the Boomer class is finally completely checked out. Until then, the whole world will continue to be enslaved by the very class they voted into authority. Blows my mind how blind people are.

Every single LEO is a paid, government-sanctioned, organized crime thug. Police are just .gov henchmen. There is no such thing as an enemy of the state, because the state IS the enemy. Literally every single socioeconomic problem can be traced back to the .gov. It's their MO, their business model. Problem, Reaction, Solution. The only way to justify their existence is to break sh*t then offer the solution to repair it. The .gov does literally nothing positive, produces nothing, and is fundamentally immoral in that it does absolutely nothing, without first by force and threat of death, stealing your money to do it. A law is an opinion with a gun.

But keep voting, it'll get better!

Keep in mind it has been the Boomers who have been in charge of seeing to it our kids are all dumb as a box of rocks via our 'Education system.' Small wonder they are all fond of communism... They have not been taught any history and are only able to interact with their phones. Keep them stupid and they will follow any meme.

within the boundaries of what's permitted to be said _ I'm OK thanks,

I am despondent so few can understand what’s has happened, and how they got away with it, for example I was informed by my strange elder brother, if I carry on mentioning that Russia is not the problem - I will soon get locked up... and these days you won't get off as they are stopping jury trials

then he said he's upset about the UK allowing its bases to support the middle east madness - and added Korea was the ONLY legitimate war since WW2 that USA have been involved in - that was way before my time. So did 5 seconds of research and not sure how the deep state splitting Korea in half (like it did with Middle East, India, Africa, South America etc.) justifies murdering 3 million and pouring biological madness on the good side when China and Russia tried to remove the fake line and put it back together

I had got up to speed with Iran, and that too is a load of old lies - with the UK trying to steal all the money till the trouble makers convince the USA they need to steal it all for themselves - it seems after the last tug of war between Russia and the UK for global domination, the UK got involved with Iran and started trying to do things the UK way from 1908 - after the UK discovered they had lots of oil - Then Iran got funny in 1921 when they realised the UK were taking all the oil even though it was a shared UK-Irian company - where they only got 16% of the profits. By 1923 the UK moved a corrupt general in to power and by 1925 he agreed to kick the original King into touch and take over the throne - he modernised things the UK way - but was a nasty person, removed competition and sidelined aspects of the democratic constitution

The trouble makers attempted to kill him in 1949 to stir things up - after which he amended the constitution to give him more power - after some more fun when the decent people could see the writing on the wall, the Iranian Prime Minister Mosaddegh nationalised the country's oil industry (he was related to the legitimate Shar/King). So by 1952 the UK initially intended to move the military in to take control and stop nationalisation - but in the end sanctioned the country and blockaded its seaports (at the time Iran had the world's largest oil refinery). The government collapsed after some lies claimed it was a Russian communist Plot - And magically the USA didn't like the way Britain were doing things - So in 1953 the USA with some activity of local ***** and Muslim terrorists arranged for the government to be kicked out and forced more power back to the corrupt puppet Shar. Funnily at the time the fake Shar was all for renationalisation of the oil sector - until he was bent over by the CIA and they explained the new world...

As a condition for restoring the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (now part of what is BP), in 1954 the USA removed the AIOC's monopoly - and magically five American petroleum companies, Shell and some Frenchies divvied up the money after the USA coup d'état that was Operation Ajax. The Shah declared this to be a "victory" for Iranians, resolving the economic collapse from the last three years, and allowing him to carry out his planned modernisation

It turns out the fake Russia threat leading to the 1953 coup was the Trouble makers lying to the gullible idiots Eisenhower and Truman - and the ensuing mess of revenge and retribution was backfiring just before the 79 Iranian revolution, as the Shar at odds with the west, was pushing the price of oil the wrong way

So in 1979 Iran threw out the puppet Shar (king) to make the world a better place and the USA do a Korea on the place and things go sideways

It turn out Israel had reasonable relations with Iran (it was not an Arab neighbour always attacking them like everyone else) and after the overthrow, Israel spent a few years trying to rebuild its relationship with Iran, so they had at least one weak ally in the area !!!

1982 Iraq was the danger and they hated Israel. Then we get a huge war by Iraq against Iran trying to take it over - Israel secretly decided if Iraq win Israel is in major danger - so they support arming and giving fighter jet spares to Iran (against USA knowledge), once that's settled they do the dirty and start on Iran....

and it appears no one heard this bit of sanity - June 2009, the U.S. President Obama in Egypt, talked about the United States' relationship with Iran, mentioning the role of the U.S. in 1953 Iranian coup saying:

This issue has been a source of tension between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran. For many years, Iran has defined itself in part by its opposition to my country, and there is indeed a tumultuous history between us. In the middle of the Cold War, the United States played a role in the overthrow of a democratically elected Iranian government. Since the Islamic Revolution, Iran has played a role in acts of hostage-taking and violence against U.S. troops and civilians. This history is well known. Rather than remain trapped in the past, I have made it clear to Iran's leaders and people that my country is prepared to move forward

meanwhile all the lemmings in USA fund the madness furthering the agenda to take over the world and cull the rest of us
