Stuck in Sport Mode

As I pulled out of the driveway I noticed that the throttle response was increased and saw that the "Sport" light on the dashboard was on. Pushing the button to release it did nothing and I am stuck in sport mode.
Any way to get back to normal mode? I couldn't find anything in this forum but in a general google search it mentioned a bad sensor on a strut could be the cause.

Scan the car for any faults that can lead you in the right direction.

Do you have option code (483) Advanced Agility Package?

Do you notice anything abnormal with the suspension or is it just with the transmission, starting off in 1st indicating Sport mode?

If there were an issue with the suspension i'd assume you would have a warning for it pop up on the dash as well.

Please clarify what you mean by sport light

If you push this CS button on the center console, the only visual indication is the C for comfort to a S for sport in the bottom, right corner of the display.
it also firms up the throttle response, enables first gear starts, and puts the suspension in hard damping and soft rebound mode.

If you press the sport button on the upper dashboard, it will say airmatic sport and the sport button will remain boxed with a red indicator. If C/S is already boxed S, it changes the suspension to hard damping and hard rebound mode. If C/S is boxed C, the sport button does not affect the throttle or transmission. It is simply a way to get to hard damping and soft rebound without changing the shift points.

Which one of these two are you seeing?
