NoOoOoOOoOOOOo you're making me desperate to go back to New York for all of the amazing food and steak houses. Out here in Colorado we don't have an abundance of dry aged steak houses or high end butchers, almost all of it is national chain restaurants in my area with the exception being small family owned places in the ethnic communities of Denver. Luger's is the best restaurant steak I have had in my short lifetime so that speaks volumes about Colorado's fine dining scene. The best here we have is considered to be Del Fresco's or Morton's by many and their steak is terribly ok. I have to try all of these places, but never knew that about Luger's thanks for the input!!
To make this a back-on-topic post I saw my first 2014 S550 in person the other day in traffic coming in the opposite direction. Really distinguished looking with the daytime running lights, and from certain angles I can definitely see the inspiration for the back end. Still getting used to the design though, but after then going to a dealership and sitting in/demoing one I am once again very impressed with the interior quality. Built like nothing I have ever been in, and I'm saying that in comparison to some Bentleys too as the S has that mixture of technology and craftsmanship that even some of its new and more expensive segment competitors don't.

I'm calculating $106K MSRP and he wants $117K for a used one. I know these cars are hot right now, but unless people can't find some on dealer lots (which they can), that would be the only reason to seek above market value.

^ Did you look at the NADA value or Kelly Blue Book MSRP? NADA tends to be a little bit higher it seems, but agreed that is a bit high for a used one. Being a Mercedes the minute you drive a new luxury car off the lot the value diminishes quite a bit more versus something like a Honda.
