They don't really have an option, but 5GB of data isn't a lot either for 4G LTE. I'm not sure what services pull from the cellular network but I hope limits like that are sufficient. Granted something like my phone is used a lot more often and with more intensive video/voice-chat/internet services but still.

I think with Mercedes going with CarPlay for Apple (and there will be some Android solution), this is somewhat a non-issue. Add the 4G/LTE hotspot feature to phone for cheap and use the phone apps via Comand.

I support what CarPlay is trying to do, but the fact that it's an Apple product coming in contact with a Mercedes infuriates me hahaha. I'm interested to see what they're doing on the Android side of things.

I have been in many of these now and as far as the interior goes it's on par with my Bentley (with more bells and whistles) but outside styling leaves much to be desired. In one word is it "ODD" looking. The previous model was almost perfect. They needed to just smooth out the pontoon fenders like they did on the 11-14 CL and put in the redesigned interior with the new suspension in a more sleeked out W220 body and you would have a really beautiful new more modern looking car. BMW did a much better job on the redesign of the 7 Series, its the interiors of the BMW's that I find offensive, the heavily grained leathers are oddly scary.

Got the car at Contemporary Motors in Little Silver NJ. It lists at just under $125K. There are only two options I don't have - Magic Sky and the Burmeister radio. I did a 2 year lease at $1325 a month (0 down, free maintenance, 10K miles per year) but I prepaid the lease. Again this is with designo interior and designo exterior paint. Otherwise the car listed at $116K or so. I am thrilled with this car and was shocked at the mileage. I got 28-30 right off the bat on the highway in light traffic and 24-26 in heavier traffic. Every MB I drive gets better gas mileage than it was supposed to. I didn't notice where you are but if you're in NJ I'll give you the guy to see. Hold off to April. That is when they have the great deals. I originally went in there to buy a 2 year old SL that was in impeccable condition and had very low mileage. I initially liked the old body style better. But i fell in love with the new style and the technology is thru the roof. The top opens in 18 seconds and there's more trunk than i ever expected. I don't know what to do at lease end. I want to buy it because of the unique designo colors but i can't resist that S coupe.
