I hope 99% if this vehicle makes it to production! The door handles, the roof, and the "over-stylized interior" included!!! I was really considering an S65 sedan; however, I may just hold out for the coupe (S63 or S65 depending if they are both releases)!!!!

If it looks close to the concept I will go on record to say this is the most beautiful MB in years. Makes up for what was done to the SL

I completely agree... I was really anticipating purchasing an S63/S65; however, if this car makes it to production largely unchanged, then I will forgo the sedan and get the coupe instead. This vehicle is absolutely stunning inside and out... The mirrors, I doubt will make it (especially in the US) but I hope everything else does! Tesla Model S has similar door handles (although I think the MB version is much cooler), so I am hoping they make it to production!!!!

Anyone know when the S-Class Coupe is expected to become available ? If it will be a 2015 model arriving in late 2014, I will probably hang on to my CLS55 another year. If it is 2-3 years away, I might get a 2014 CLS63 on a 3 yr lease.

Thanks, that is what I was hoping. Local dealer said might not come until 2016-2017 but think that was to motivate me to buy a new car. I must say the S-class coupe looks absolutely amazing, I hope most of the design features on the concept remain intact for the production vehicle - including the door handles and mirrors.

MB has never gone over a year with the CL after the S. I doubt there will be a MY'15 CL.

This car is absolutely gorgeous. My problem is that I can't believe the actual coupe will come out even close to resembling this.
My guess is that it will be closer to a coupe version of the S class sedan as it has mostly been in the past.
Hope I am wrong.

That is a C-Class in the video, clearly there are 4-door handles on the exterior and the front end is way too small to be an S-Class coupe.
C-Class will likely start at 40K from 2015 onwards, has to make room for the CLA.

Wow that C interior looks cheap on the whole center portion leading up to that tacky pop up screen. Otherwise not bad for a car of that class, though material selection looks to be in question as it looks to use a lot of CLA materials which are quite chintzy to me.

That spec is obviously some special selection that you'll see on like .0001 C Classes. Assume the "normal" version will do away with some of those extra stitchings and colors and look probably as downmarket as some of the materials it appears to share with the CLA do.
