I admire those who do not require quality and perceive marginal to no difference in obviously different things such as a RR compared with a Honda. Although maybe I should STFU as I have never sat in a Honda. Maybe I will today (not)!
Does this mean that you would drive the Honda and wifey drives the big dog?
Perhaps this site is not the best use of your time.

Saw a show called Raw to Ready where they take you through the manufacture of a Bentley Mulsanne. You do really get something for your money. The craftsmanship is incredible though no more so that what when into a 50's early 60's Mercedes.

Although the flying spur has been updated for 2014 it's still a very sweet vehicle and doesn't look that much different than its predecessor. However, personally I'd prefer the new w222 over it anyway for purposes of reliability, warranty coverage and overall savings on maintenance etc.

Wood and leather is just out of this world!
No kids? So who will inherit the Rolls after they die? Did you offer them your adoption?

I have some friend's who had Bentley's and they hated it, it was in the shop more then any MB I've seen. Don't get me wrong they look nice, but you will be heading back and forth getting repairs and the parts aren't cheap. With the new S class you will get a factory warranty.

Now if I was offered the new S class and a Maybach 57 with a warranty I'd have to think about it lol. But the parts in a Maybach are much much much worse, has anyone seen the prices on struts, alternator, etc? It makes the parts for the 65 AMG owner look like nothing lol

really? A maybach has so little attraction to me. I don't get chauffered around, and driving a maybach is not anything spectacular. 222 over a maybach any day.

As to bentley, the continential series (GT and flying spur) are basically audis, so the reliability should be pretty decent, as has been the experience of those I've spoken with.

The 62 is the Maybach thats meant to be chauffeured in. The Maybach 57s is a drivers car... And I'm sure a car with a twin-turbo v12 engine that Pushes 620hp is a TAD bit more fun to drive than you claim...

If you are looking into a Maybach 57S basically you want something like a S65 without that raw power feeling but a more of a drivers car. The 57S is amazing! However I personally would take a S65 instead. The 62 is the car you get driven in. Some people the Maybach as little appeal to. To me I love it but I would never see myself owning one. I would just buy a S600 or S65. The Rolls Royce is just a stunning amazing machine in every way! Not to mention is is HUGE! Is you favor space that is a car for you!

No 5500lb 230" long car is a "drivers car" A lotus is a drivers car.

the maybach, any maybach, is a chauffers car to me. Feel free to disagree.

yeah, its got a lot of power and the acceleration for its size its impressive...thats where it ends.

I disagree. If I follow you logic I need to admit that motorcycle is a driver's car.
