Manufactuers always brag about how they put a million miles on a vehicle and test day and night before a vehicle goes on sale but its all crap, first year models always always always have issues no matter if its a 20k vehicle of 500k vehicle. The S-class is far from immune with a million parts in the vehicle that can go wrong. The more parts the higher the chances of things going wrong, had a 98 civic and did not change the oil for 7 years, zero issues, only thing "power" on it was the radio and windows lmao.

Yeah I've heard of an oil leak already with the 222. Hope mines don't leak.

Unfortunately, yes. And I was the one who posted about it. Took a few days to repair as MB didn't have any spare part oil pan gaskets in the US yet (so I was told) and they had to send one from Germany.

That is terrible to read about on this otherwise magnificent car.

Dropped off at Dealer monday, they are going to replace 3 fuel injectors which they have to order from Germany but are on backorder so will take a few days. SA said that they would have no objection to releasing the car to me until the parts are available.

ODB2 Reader code is only cylinder 8 misfire but they are replacing 3 injectors ?? why not all of them ?

Just picked up my car, asked why not just replace all injectors and they said they couldn't because if there is nothing wrong with them they can't write it up . Either way I'll have to take it back in when the parts arrive. So inconvient

That's hilarious that someone would edit you quote to suit their purpose. Hey, that's just like politics.

2015 Check Engine Light

My 2015 S550 has been in the shop three times with the check engine light on. (3800 miles currently) It is always in the AM. I start the car and travel about a mile downhill on my street and as i get to the bottom, the light will come on and the engine begins to sputter. I have to pull over and wait a few minutes and then turn it back on and it goes away. Embarrassing for a 120k car. The most recent happened on Monday and each time MBZ brings a flatbed truck and picks it up. Additionally, the video screen which displays the Tel, Media, Radio and Nav went dark and I was unable to turn it back on after continuos restarting. It is now in the shop with the check engine light and defective video screen!

This has happened 3 times and all documented. Time to lawyer up and use the California lemon law.

I know there's only a few active users left on this forum for c63's, but I find it hard to believe that I'm the only one that has their knock limit exceeded.
