I did finally find this info in the MB WIS work shop manual which states it's 950 cca's.

Thanks for the responses, guys.

Mercedes-Benz S350 Bluetec.
You're welcome.

I have a related question; I have replaced the battery today. But i still have the warning in the instrument display.
It shows a symbol with an empty battery, and tells me to stop the car, put it in park, and leave the engine running.

Any idea how i can get rid of this warning?

I have messured the voltage, to about 12.5v with engine off, and 14.5v with engine running. So i would guess everything is ok.
But i still have the warning.

You made need to perform a sync procedure. Not sure. Try Googling for your model or perhaps someone will chime in.

This explains the sync procedure I believe.I recall having to do this on my '02 CL500 and I guess it still applies to more current models.

Mercedes-Benz S350 Bluetec.
It is solved.
The replacement battery was also bad.
A new one in today, and no more warnings.

Yep, the old dead "NEW" battery. Rare, but it happens. I learned to always test them before installation. Is it a MB battery?

Did you have to go thru the sync process?

It was a used Varta battery, i had stored and recharged. Probably stored for too long, without charging. (btw. the original MB battery is also Varta).

I bought a new Bosch AGM, instead.

Yes, i did sync the windows.

If your battery, was showing, correct voltage, how do you determine it was bad?

A bad battery can show correct voltage. That's why a load test is required to check a battery. In the case of the poster here, I assume his car wouldn't start.

Correct. No-start after parking for a night.
