s550 vs Range Rover
Without arguing whether they should be compared, here is a pretty decent review and comparison of the 2014 Range Rover and 2014 Mercedes S550 by Overdrive.

'14.5 RR LWB, '14 s63, '14 Ford Raptor Screw, '13 G63
I did seriously consider the new range rover but it was a comparison to an s63 so not quite a fair comparison.
I actually really like the way the new RR looks but what turned me off was that there was/is no inventory and dealerships were selling at msrp if not above.
When I finally found a decent dealership that didn't act like they were doing me a favor and had one on the lot, my ordered s63 was a week from build so I stuck with MB.
I drove the RR and it's really nice inside and out but in the back of my mind I'm still skeptical of their reliability. But if I needed an SUV, this would be it
