Prices Paid
In the market for a new S550 guys. What kind of discounts (dollars off MSRP) are being had out there for in-stock and ordered vehicles?

Just got back from a dealer. They offered $5,500 off on a custom ordered unit with a $109k list.
Thoughts on this - good - bad? People getting better deals than this?

Just wondering if the supply/demand curve had loosened up some. I'm in no rush so just looking to see if it's still tight out there or whether dealers are now willing to wheel-and-deal on these. The economy is still tough so plan to use it to my advantage when plopping down 100k for a vehicle.

Most dealers are not dealing at all yet, and won't until 2015. I've heard of every amount the elite few have gotten off.....and let me tell you, 5.5K off of 109K msrp is the best deal I've heard to date. The highest I've seen is 4% off from the few who were able to get something off. Your deal is 5% off. I'm 100% sure you won't find anything better. If you are ready to buy this car, you need to hop on that deal asap. Nobody here or anywhere is gonna tell you they did better than 5% off unless they took European delivery.

What's the deal with Euro delivery? Flat 7% off negotiable or not? Other than your travel costs, are there other expenses that make this anything other than the best deal? Kinda confused as to why they give a better deal for this but I'm sure its probably because of duties saved or something like that.

What's the dealer's incentive to giving a better deal for Euro deliveries? Separate allocation of vehicle so less demand for vehicles in this program?

$2K off on a $104K... It was already configured and on the way to the dealership so the wait was minimal ... i didn't negotiate hard enough based on the above discounts but don't worry, I'm going to be OK!
