Looks identical to mine. You're going to LOVE it.

Finally got a picture. The Verde Brook color really sparkles in the sun, although it is hard to see in the pictures. Already have 1000 miles on it. Ride is great - I can't compare it to other W222's, but the ride is much better than my W221 with the 19" wheels. I mentioned the aftermarket mats - will post pics of those in another thread.

Very nice looking! I see that you have the 18 inch standard wheels. I also have these. I decided comfort is more important than looks. The looks are just fine with the 18 inch wheels in my opinion.

This evening I was fortunate enough to attend a party hosted by Mercedes Benz at Pebble Beach and they had the new S Coupe there.

The pictures do not do this car justice. It is bold, it is sexy and it is downright gorgeous.

For those of you that have ordered this car you are going to be in for a nice big surprise. This car is unlike anything you have ever seen.

The pictures do not capture the pure "presence" this car has.

Thank heavens I have a custom ordered sedan otherwise... I just might have.

It was very dark at the party, so I did the best I could with an iPhone.

As some of you may know, I work for one of the larger enclosed transport companies. Sorry I didn't get to work with MB at this year's event . . . handled mostly RR and a Veyron demo. Did you get to see their S65 coupe as well?

The S65 Coupe was not there. They said it was coming in the morning. Unfortunately, I was not able to stick around the next day so I did not get to see it.

I saw the s65 coupe , at the pebble beach rally . Insane car and as nice as the rolls Royce wraiths parked on the opposite side

Wow nice. Interesting they even molded the stalks on the steering column in tan. I don't recall them ever doing that for tan interiors on previous generations.

Yes, very nice touch. Also, these interiors are porcelain. Wonder what they will actually use with the silk beige.

During my trip, going to see our friends at Mercedes Benz. Set up for the AMG tour as well as the Sindelfingen plant tour.

Also going to see the Centre of Excellence where they worked on my customized car.

Very excited to finally see the factory and the people that worked on my custom order.

My production date is getting closer, 10/8/14 and hoping for arrival here in the California sometime in November.

I was in Paris making my way over to Germany to visit Mercedes Benz. There are certainly a lot of S sedans in this city.

I was able to see for the first time in person, the S600/S65 front grill. Gorgeous.

I've decided that I am going with this front grill and making the necessary arrangements.

My production date of 10/8 is rapidly approaching. Can't wait to see how this car turns out. Very excited!

I've seen that grill in person also - very sharp !

When are you due in Germany for the AMG & Sindelfingen plant tour? If you can, take plenty of pictures.

Very excited today. In Venice flying into Stuttgart to Mercedes Benz tomorrow. Not only am I going to do the AMG and Sindelfingen tours but I have now been able to confirm that I am going to meet with the people that worked on my custom ordered car in the Centre of Excellence. Looking forward to meeting them to say thank you.

My car's production date is still October 8th so it will be born very soon. Working with the folks in Montvale has been a tremendous experience and they have made this very rewarding. Germany has also gone out of their way to get me every single detail I wanted.

Even though my production date isn't for another two weeks, I feel the final part of the journey starts tomorrow.

A special treat is that my wife is actually excited too. How lucky am I!
