2015 S550 Cleaning Help

I just received my 2015 s550 Saturday. I need some help in keeping the floor mats clean. My interior is the silk beige/espresso. I do not like how the all weather mats look i prefer the ones that came with it. Does anybody know of a product to protect them from stains and spills?

3M Scotchguard should work to protect them from stains and spills but I purchased the Weathertech floor liners.

I have the same color interior on my '14 S550 4matic. I purchased the tan Weathertech Digital Floor Liners. They really are nice. Since I picked up my car in early February, I needed something that would work with our Pittsburgh winter this year. They really are very nice. In the past I had used the MB all season floor mats on my previous S Class cars. I like the Weathertech Floor Liners the best. These floor liners are custom fit digitally and even protect the side of the carpet where my left foot goes in the driver's footwell For this light interior I think these are the best if one is picky about keeping your interior clean.

The floor liners really look classy since they are a little darker tan than the original floor maps and really look nice with the espresso brown dash and light tan interior.

I have the same issue in my Cabriolet. I ordered dark brown matts from my Mercedes dealer.

How should I go about cleaning small imperfections? I tried to use a damp microfiber cloth but wasn't able to clean it up properly?

The mats are already stained? You should have scotchguarded them right away when new. Use any auto carpet cleaner, get them clean, then scotchguard them (be sure to use the sg for carpets).

Go to griotsgarage and order whatever you need. They have fantastic cleansers for your entire car. I ordered various cleansers from them and they are truly awesome. They have all purpose cleansers, tire cleansers, leather cleansers, window cleansers, etc. The cost is very reasonable as well in my opinion. Here is the link: http://www.griotsgarage.com

For automotive cleaners I have used Adams for a number of years. Great products and some of the best customer service and support I have ever experienced.

I really want to get some darker mats for my upcoming beige interior car, but carpet, not rubber. It looks like Mercedes does not have a good brown color mat. Has anyone gotten a good custom carpet mat for their W222?

You want darker mats because you want the color contrast, or because you don't want lighter colored ones to get dirty? If you want the contrast, OK. But if its a "clean" thing, that's why we are saying - just SG the light colored ones and they will be easy to clean when they get dirty.

+1 for Weathertech. I've purchased them for my cars for the past 14 years. They're heavy duty, they fit, and they keep the winter salt stains out of my car's carpets. I'll be buying a set for my 15 S550 4MATIC - when it finally gets here...
