What do you guys think about 5.5% off for a 2014 sitting on a lot? Given it's a '14 I feel like there is another $2000 or so in that car to be had.

Do a search in this forum for "VIN Decode". Plug in the VIN number of your potential purchase. The decode will give you the Dealer Invoice Price along with Sticker price will be shown. I would negotiate with that info in mind.

I don't see why 5% plus is so off. You can get 7% off a new euro delivery s class. Use that for negotiation and let me know what they say.

I am no expert on this topic but I believe the 2014 S550 4matic was MSRP less 7% is invoice price. My understanding on the 2014 S550 4matic (the car I purchased) the base MSRP was $95,900 (without $925 delivery charge) and the invoice price was $89,187 (without $925 delivery charge).

Ok, my mistake then. It used to be 6% before. If it is 7% now, it is 7% but my point being its a fixed % so no need to decode anything. Thanks for correcting to the actual % now.
