Auto high beams

I hate the auto high beams! They never turn up when I am on a dark side street. They rarely will go up to high beam mode and most of the time I can't see. I have to hold the stalk back to keep them on when I need to see. Is anyone else having this problem? I wish you could turn off the automatic high beams and just have normal high beams that you turn on and off.

You need to be going around 30 miles an hour for the automatic high beams to work. It is a pain to have to hold the stalk in to make them work below that speed and I don't know of a way to keep the high beams on manually. They do work well on rural roads with little traffic and speed limits above 30 mph.

On the light switch to the left of the steering wheel, turn it to the right most option. You can now control the high beams manually using the stalk without having to hold it. Try it.

I have them on my C, and you can disable them by the vehicle settings menu in the cluster. When you do, they work like traditional high beams. I would presume the W222 would be the same.
