I’ve used various fragrances over 2 years. I just unscrew and spray away. I have noticed that the MB fragrances are a bit thicker. IMO they last longer than personal colognes
My experience exactly.....personal colognes do not last nearly as long as the MB fragrances. Oh well, I love the personal scent I have in my car, so I'll just continue to refill when needed.
Well
I have a 2017 C63 with Air Balance. The the factory supplied sent container ran out a couple of weeks ago.
I called the dealer for a replacement. $ 130, no refills available, I was stunned !!!!
They should put the in every car just to sell the replacements. Of course checked, Amazon, $99.
Still could not believe it. So for 25 cents I went to CVS bought a hypodermic nettle, drilled a hole though the top down to the glass reservoir in the now worthless MB contained and injected Faberge air freshener about 1/2 way full as a test. . Put a small piece of electrical tape over the hole and reinstalled it.
Works perfect.
The good news is, I can suck the Faberge out an inject what ever sent I like.
Keep you posted as to next fragrance.

^^^^^Exactly, no need for needles. Cut through the clear plastic seal, and give it a good twist (lefty loosy, righty tighty). May be difficult the first time, but after that, just twist open to refill, and twist shut. I usually line up the plastic seal when I twist it shut so I don't over tighten the cap.

Why are we using this public board as a message board to the fragrance seller? He's offering a useful product but his original post said to send a PM, so just send a PM and we don't need to hear about it here...
I for one really enjoy the fragrance system. I was a bit skeptical at first but was very surprised when I started using it. When I took delivery, the Freeside mood was included which has a great scent (almost like tea and flowers). I keep my setting on Medium (2) but sometimes turn the system completely off. I went ahead and ordered the remaining fragrances (Nightlife, Downtown, and Sports) so I'll let you guys know how those are.
When My canister ran out and I found out that no refills were available without buying a new canister, I started looking for options. I learned through this forum that you can break the seal on your canister and put in whatever fragrance you like. So I did, filled it up with Fabreze air freshener.
Works great, plus this product is designed to remove odors , not mask them.
