Radar Detector Install
Hi,
Has anyone here had a radar detector / laser shifter installed on their 222 yet? I'm also interested in recommendations for installers in the DFW area. I'm considering the Escort Passport 9500ci, but open to other suggestions. My requirement is something that works well and can be mostly hidden. I don't want anything mess up the interior.

Search around for my thread on my ham radio install as it's a similar process. Installers had the trunk apart and all is well. With the CI, they need to run wires to the front as well. They may also need to tune it a bit to ensure no Ka band issues with Distronic (presuming you have that).
Also you may want to make sure the installer is on the Mid City engineering list unless you have some word of mouth recommendations. It takes about 2 days to do it right.
