I was pretty excited for this feature as it was written all over the place that it was supposed to be in the coupe...

However, I can't find anything on MB that says it is, and I've actually saw a couple of articles around that said it's been pushed back to some time in 2015 for MB and Volvo.

Anybody know anything at all about this??

I could cry...I sure hope and almost would assume this could and will be included in a software update when it is finally rolled out.

I am disappointed myself. I checked my build sheet and no mention of it. No one knows when it will be rolled out.

I thought they were bringing this to all current models. You can get it in the $29k CLA.

Mecedes press release says 2015 C class Doesn't get anymore real than that. Maybe it's a late release, but 2015 is the date.

Again, I'm not looking for somebody to cite Google search results from March. CarPlay has been pushed back for all manufacturers except ferrari apparently.

So again, looking for REAL information here...

Yes, they are all wrong. The 2015 c class has the apple car play technology in it already! Whether it's enabled yet, not sure, but the tech is in the car from the factory. Other vehicles will have an aftermarket solution that can be retrofitted later.

ALso, this is very cool. It's about drive kit plus, not an apple product, but another option which will work.

I just said I'm not looking for outdated Google articles. Carplay is not in any mercedes vehicle yet, and I am unsure as to why you are making baseless claims.

Not exactly sure what you were trying to say here..

But let's recap, you said carplay was in the cla, it's not. Then you said it's in the c class, it's not.

I know what articles are on the Internet, from 7 months ago, as everybody else does. But what we are looking for here is new, current information about carplay.

I was thinking of DKP (Drive kit Plus) when I said CLA, which is my fault. I have a very good contact who I've been in communication with since this was first shown in the demo cars. You will here more soon. Another press release is coming.

I will say I do find it funny that once a new S class comes out, they tend to be very slow implementing anything else into their flagship. Yes, good job on the touch pad. Everything seems to hit the entry level models first and starts to get overshadowed on the their flagship as years go on. I hope it's not the same this time around and they make the current tech inside more upgradable. The current S has some of the best tech in it.
