It costs somewhere around £3,000 to buy the instrument cluster.

1) You need a USB drive that is under 2gb and it can not be SDHC otherwise command will not read it.

2) Make sure its partitioned as GPT Partition type so that command can read it.

3) Format USB Drive with ZFS File System type and at 2048kb. (You can do this under linux, open solaris or freebsd )

4) Download this image onto the drive. (You will need to do it from linux or a VM will work as well.)

5) Insert USB drive into the bottom slot inside the center arm rest.

6) Here's the tricky part. It took me a few tries to get it to work. Insert key into ignition. Making sure the vehicle is off. While pressing and holding the Mercedes logo on the steering wheel, Turn key forward and start the vehicle. Do not let go of logo yet.

7) Wait 10 Seconds while command boots up to where you see the Mercedes Benz Logo until you see the part where the planet comes on the screen and says initiating Nav.

8) You can let go of the logo on the steering wheel and the screen should say "Downloading Update.." then "Checking CRC..." then finally "Update Completed. Please Power Down Vechicle." Don't panic if the screen goes blank at any point during the update process. This will show on the screen directly in front of you in red letters.

9) Power down vehicle and wait 30 seconds.

10) Step on gas pedal for 45 Seconds. Remove and reinsert key and turn one notch forward (engine off).
While foot is still on pedal.

11) You should hear two beep tones like the ones in the lane changing alert.

And thats it. Your Command should boot up with the new AMG overlay and also it will have updated your ecu to allow more boost in the turbos. You will definitely notice snappier shifts and harder revs.

Hope this helps
