Now all you need is a pair of those "DUB" insignias for the front fenders! Seriously though, I think those are good looking wheels as well, but when I look at those sidewalls, I can't help but wonder what has happened to the ride quality of this car. Three inch heels on a woman's pump look sensational. When you see a woman wearing 7" heels, lots of words come to mind, but "classiness" isn't one of them.

The look of the wheels are great and complement the car very nicely. Ride quality does suffer with larger wheel sizes but the days of 17" and 18" wheels are over IMO. Larger rims are designed by MB into the overall look/feel and the suspension is designed to deliver great ride quality with up to 20" rims. All part of the overall calibration.
I have factory forged AMG 19"/20" wheels on the smaller SL and ride quality is better than the older SL on 18" wheels.
My issue starts with over 20" wheels. 22" wheels only look good if the car is dropped as well and there isn't a lot of rubber so the combination will be quite a bit rougher.
I wish there would be more tire options out there in 21"; to me that's the largest rim I would put on the sedan.
If you live in a place with bad streets, 19" wheels will already easily bend with run flats. The BMW forums are full of those stories.
