Poll - which AMG wheels would you pick

If you had to stick to OEM AMG wheels, which ones would you pick? The silver 5 spoke, IIRC, is cast while the rest are forged.

1) what color is the vehicle?

2) you can't go wrong with the classic 5 star. It's like a white kitchen - never looks old.

I'm sure any of them would look really good, but I like the 5 spokes too; they're both very nice

none
I am more of a 5 spoke guy. Both types of 5 spokes look amazing but I like the silver 5 spokes more than the split because IMO they look bigger and more bold.

I like the silver split 5 spoke best, but what size are they because they look a tad bit small.

Thanks...I know they were all oem hence the title, just wasnt sure if they were 19 or 20". They do look smaller than some of the other 20" wheels avail for the 222.
Hey Jenz if your car is black I would say 1st or last on the list and I would choose the last.

I'm going to say the split. Those are the same as the S65 on the w221, which designates a S65. I'd stick what goes on the S65, since that's the top.

S65's only get 20's.

And here you go on ebay. $5k with tires:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/20-NEW-S63-S65-CL63-S500-S550-S600-OEM-MERCEDES-AMG-FORGED-WHEELS-TIRES-SENSORS-/400863466590?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Wheel_Packages&hash=item5d5553145e&vxp=mtr
Or do the replica's for $900 no tires

Agree with most here with split being my top choice but would only get the W222 style, slightly different than those from the W221 that you linked.

Think you can't go wrong with the 10 spoke, either.

+1 he listed the 10 spoke in black.

I would go with the 10 spoke for winter and the split 5 spoke for summer

the pics of the split 5 spoke don't do it justice. from the pic, you don't really see the actual shape, concaveness, and beefiness of the wheel.

There is a big difference between the 221 and the 222 style. the 222 style, imo, is much better looking, both in design, beefiness, and overall muscle look.

I've seen them both in person, they aren't that different. I'm not sure what you mean. Besides the holes covering the lugs, that's about it.

The W221 and W222 splits are quite different. I have the split W221 forged oem wheels and the spokes are much flatter and thicker than the W222 version. While both are nice, each suits the corresponding generation well.

Why are we even discussing the W221 wheels in comparison? The op has posted the wheels he wants opinions of and those are the aforementioned w222 wheels listed.

I would say Option 2 without chrome, if you want more of an elegant look
Option 5 if you want more of a sporty look
The only downside to option 2 is so many W222s have them, at least here in Houston every single 222 i see has those rims
