I just watched the Motor Trend Tesla vs Mercedes S550 Head to Head and I want to get the same exterior silver color as the S550 they reviewed.
Problem is, I'm not sure if it's Iridium or Palladium Silver.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Looks just like mine, in beautiful Pallidium Silver, but my car isn't trying to look sporty. She's a grand, luxury saloon, riding smoothly, softly and silently on 18" wheels, shod with cushy, conventional tires.. Now the sad news: I believe that MB has discontinued Palladium Silver.

It is palladium silver...like mine. Truly an elegant color for an elegant car. Hard to believe that MB would discontinue it. Now that the weather is breaking in the Northeast I can finally get out and enjoy this puppy. Have less than 1K miles in two months. I'm on 20's with run flats and it rides beautifully for my tastes. Always thought my '07 CL was the best Benz I ever owned. Actually looked at the new S Coupe before buying this. I'm not sorry I passed on the coupe. This car isn't as sporty as the coupe but the appearance and feel of luxury is second to none. Not to mention the convenience of four doors.

The more I see of the new S Coupe, the more I think it's a case of "the emperor's new clothes!" The coupe exterior styling is bland, uninspired and unexciting. To me, it looks like it should wear an Acura or Hyundai badge. I know we are SUPPOSED to like it, because it's supposedly special and more exclusive, blah, blah, blah, but to me, it's just plain BORING! I'll take the sedan any day. If someone wants a two door, the SL is way more fun--for way less money.

I agree. Turned in my off lease SL 550 when I took delivery of the S. Not missing it...yet. We'll see what happens this summer.
