I had AM Vantage v8 i assume for a coupke of month, they are the most disappointed car i ever driven!!! So slow (i hope you had 6spd manual, the dual clutch auto is a joke), interior is ancient, the navigation is POS.. Etc
The only cool factor is it is hand built and the side break is on the side. Haha
And the door opens at a wing angle.

The dual clutch in the Aston is a joke BTW .... Mine was a 6mt - and while it certainly wasnt a torque monster - if you kept her up in the rpm's she liked to run ...
Interior is amazing... sure the radio and gps are crap... but the leather fit and finish was perfect....

I had a 2007 Vanquish S when those cars were still being hand built. The car was gorgeous and sexy as can be.
I understand the argument that the S Coupe is probably the better car dollar for dollar, but when you buy an Aston like that, you are really not too concerned about the value.
The S Couple does not look like that car did, and when I drove into any parking lot, the difference was obvious by all reactions.
Being a bit older today, I'd probably go for the Coupe, but I am not a good barometer because I've been there with the Aston, so that bucket has been filled.
