Alright, looks like I have finally found the right 2015 S550 at the right price. I'm going to pull the trigger this week.

I've purchased or leased several MBs, but have never really asked for anything at the time of closing the deal. I've mainly focused my efforts on negotiating the best possible price.

Can some of the experienced members or buyers please let me know what are some reasonable things to ask for? I remember my dad always asking for extra floor mats when he bought a car...you know, little stuff like that!

I asked for three yrs of free service and got two yrs of free service instead.

Just had to ask nicely. They did not budge on the wheel/tire insurance or 3yr prepaid service (even though my lease is just 30 months!)

So I've got to ask...did you guys get huge discounts or were they more willing to offer free stuff because they didn't give you a steep discount on the car?

No, I didn't pay MSRP. I got about $12K off of MSRP since it was the last 2014 on the lot and they knew I was interested instead on their used 2010 Rolls Ghost which got me to the Benz dealership in the first place but another Rolls dealership ended up getting it instead of myself since they didn't have to pay the sales tax on it and I would have.

It was also the 3rd Benz since '08 that I purchased from them.
I gave them my price and what I wanted, they called me the next morning and we made the deal over the phone.

I asked to be included in the Beluga Caviar Club, but they said no

I got about 16% off new e63

Got about 10% off new e550 sedan

Both came with those freebies

Don't feel like they'll use anything against you... You are a current and future customer and their best advertisement if they make you happy
