Incredibly frustrated with my brakes

Brakes have been making noise pretty much since I bought the car. I have had the pads replaced and after awhile they still made noise. I had the pics replaced and they are still making noise. What the heck can I do to get this fixed? It's incredibly loud and not very enjoyable to drive like this. I know several people on this forum have had initial noise but had it resolved. Has anyone experience consistent issues?

Just for reference: I have a 2015 S550 and NO brake noise. The car is remarkably quiet. It is quieter that my 2008 S was.

Can you tell us anything about the driving circumstances underwhich you drive?

A) do you set the distronic and just let cruise control control the distance from the car ahead?
B) do you drive in such a way that the automatic stability system interviens to control the car?
C) can you tell us anything about how the car is driven?

I drive pretty normal. I live in the city so not a lot of highway driving so disctronic is rarely used. I have never seen the *** system come on. I am mainly driving between 35 and 55 mph all the time which is part of the problem. I only hear the noise under light braking. Hard braking I don't hear it at all

Yes thought of that but that is easier said than done from a time stand point. Disappointing that on a $135k car I need to do that. On my wife's GLK they are completely fine and that car was less than $50k

So you have had the latest updated pads put in? I haven't run into trouble with one after those were installed.

Not necessarily, took me 45min

Far far quicker than driving to the dealership, getting the loaner, being without the car for a few days and returning to the dealer to retrieve it only to find it squeaks again ... rinse+repeat

But agree, you shouldn't have to do it, but I'll happily find an hour of my time vs wasting the time n headache of repeat trips to the dealership

Definitely makes sense. I will give it a try and see if it works. Thanks
