Heated Windshield Lines
, shown a 550 coupe with a heated windshield and I noticed the heating elements were rather visible and appeared throughout the glass. I live in S FL and don't need this option but may be able to get a healthy deal on this particular car. For those that with this option, have the element lines become something you wish were not there? Thanks

I find this rather interesting because I have the heated front windshield, and do not have any lines. I was told on the S class for 2015, that they were introducing a new technology for heating the front windshield, and that the new technology did not have any lines.
Surely enough, such was the case. Given the S coupes were a 2015 model year, I am surprised they did not use this technology in that car. Maybe the only explanation is that my car is a 2015-2 model year car, and maybe it was introduced just in the second half.
What is the production date of this car?

My 2016 S550 4matic Sedan has no lines and is unnoticeable day or night. See attached--only lines are in the Infra Red Passthrough areas.
