Cd media problem

Cd media problem
All of the sudden. CDs won't play. Have loaded and reloaded. Get the message. Cd loading which goes on forever. Then says unreadable cd. These are the same CDs I've had in there since I bought the car. Somewhere the grace note reader is turned off. The manual says you can turn it on by going to media /cd. It doesn't appear anywhere. I just get cd loading.

this actually did happen to me once, I stopped and started the car and it worked ever since.......now it's the cd graphics that don't display
