Depends where I'm going.
Anybody know how to replace a headight on a W222?
Cracked one of my lenses on a 2015 S550 and picked up a new headlight but want to make sure I have good instructions before tackling the job. Also read somewhere new LED replacement lights need to be coded in. Anyone have access to chassis diagrams with mounting points etc and info on the coding question?

No offense, but this is the type of question seen on boards for models that are six or more years old and way less sophisticated. I applaud your DIY enthusiasm, but I believe the answer you will find on this forum 99.9% of the time will be "take it to the dealer." Just about everything on these cars is so wired in and complicated that most W222 drivers never even attempt opening the hood. As someone who rebuilt engines and restored cars in my youth, I would never even attempt changing the oil in my S550. Anyway, best of luck with your project.
That said, I hear you about servicing the car. I used to be hands on and did my own maintenance down to valve adjustments but these days even am oil change requires a computer reset of some sorts. All I do now is add washer fluid LOL! The light is like replacing a part like the good old days only easier because everything is plastic and held together with clips and simple fasteners vs bolts and real hardware.

I agree with Streamliner. These cars are so technologically advanced that if you mess up on one small thing, it will end up being a real headache. Also, IMO it's best to always remove the front bumper of any car when you're trying to remove the headlights.

I would imagine it isn't any more difficult than the previous W221 S class bumper removal. You'll see some brackets behind the wheel well liner. One harness for Parktronic and the bumper cover should be off. Headlight should be pretty easy after that. Not sure on coding.

Changing oil is easy, 15 to 20 min. Reset the odometer and the reminder is done at steering wheel with special sequence of 2 buttons to get to the service menu.. no big deal.

Involves removing lower engine panel, bumper, fender lining, grille, actuation module, and control unit + SDS startup.
