Keep what you have and change the wheels. Will feel like a new car until you are 100% you want to go for a change. And yes, you're gonna miss the AMG. Or just want longer to get a used amg, as they will keep dropping.

Thanks everyone for the comments and advice... I'm passing on the s550, they are going to see if they can find me a decently priced 14 S63. If they can, I think I am going to go that route.

Sounds like a good move. Since the w222 AMG only comes in AWD and Airmatic suspension, you may want to take one for an extended drive before you go searching...
