How to tell if an S550 is an AMG car?

Front bumper is easiest for me, there are 3 styles
Go to the build an S550 page and add/remove the sport package to see 2 of them
The AMGs have a third style where the horizontal chrome trim is removed from the side air inlets of the front bumper

In a nutshell, the current W222 S-Class sedan came in:
The S63 and S65 are 'true' W222 AMG cars.
Although; in the US, the non-AMG W222 models could come with the optional Sport Package and/or optional AMG wheels, which could make the vehicle look 'more sporty.'
When buying new from the dealer, there should be no confusion. However, when buying a 'pre-loved' W222, the best way to make sure is to check the VIN of the vehicle.

- S600
- AMG S63
- AMG S65

Anyone can turn an ordinary W222 S Class into extraordinary W222 S63/65 AMG using external body parts .I think easiest way is to pop up the hood and see the badge of honor that is called:
One Man One Engine
But I think these rectangular badges can be found at ebay too . Well, get a dealer to check the VIN whether that car is original or not as posted above
