Weekend DIY Parts and Pricing ....

I have purchased and used all of the items below except for the Oil Filter wrench.

I enjoy doing the basic / easy jobs on the car. I put together a list of parts and pricing as well as where I purchased some.

Obviously, some discrepancies information need more clarification and answer of one word or silence, like nobody home, doesn't help and wastes my time.
Victor was very helpful in all ways.

Need to replace front end suspension, think original is always best when it comes to suspension because qualified manpower is expensive.
A reasonable extra, difference in price wont break the bank, Lemforder would be my 2nd choice. I think Mayle, Trw, febi etc come after. Please correct me if i'm mistaken.
Timing chain and tensioner needs to be redone next, that I dread.
Would anyone care to help find Victor and off course, help and advise from my peers as always, am deeply in your debt

Replace the front suspension? That sounds a bit dramatic, how many miles?

Arnott's are still good, control arms, sway bar bushes ball joints, etc. its become squeaky. Was thinking replacing with original parts, some folks advise Lemforder are near enough to original.
Timing chain is next.......... I dread that.
Can anyone advise on a cheap enough obd scanner diagnostic tool that will read, clear, change learn. The gear selector needs replacing, its gone kaput on a gear or two. perhaps Foxwell or something similar.
Can't afford the real thing as yet.
