AMG GTC Roadster, E63s Ed.1, M8 Comp. Coupe
No kidding. I occasionally visit the G11/G12 forums on Bimmerfest and its quiet over there. Unlike the W222 which is a very solid car, the 7 series is still having some issues with oil usage/coolant leaks, etc. The 740i is a genuine bargain though and a decent car for the money.
I contemplated getting a B7 before getting the E63s. $155k car, still would have been the cheaper one!

Still hard to complain about reliability in the W222 forum when you drive a W221. Understood, bad experiences leave a sour taste...
But you say lots of little things. At last count you mentioned 5 issues in 3 years. Some rattle in headrest, key issue, brake (noise?) and a leaking hose?
If that is your worst car experience, then you are lucky. I understand they are a nuisance but a good dealer just takes care of them.
I like to separate dealer experience from the brand because I have experienced the best and worst at various dealers, all of which were related to people skills and attitude, not what kind of car it was.

The W222 is extremely reliable. All you have here is a troll that started a thread complaining about what appears to be phantom issues on a non-existing car and then an OP pointing out issues that had nothing to do with a W222. When it comes to talking about actual issues about the car, I hear crickets

Every car has a few things to nitpick on, the W222 has minor nuisance issues at best.

I'm confused on what year the W222 started.
Was thinking it was 2014 Model year.
As Far as what made me cautious of S class reliability it was mainly Consumer Reports. However the latest issues show that the 2015 Has good reliability.
I have a 2009 Lexus ls 460. They are supposed to be reliable but I have had to spend $2000 on fuel injector replacement
