Pulled the trigger on 560
Hello guys and gals. I was going to get a 450, but decided, what the heck. Ordered a 560, rear wheel drive yesterday:
- Ruby Black Metallic with silk beige brown exclusive nappa, Burl walnut trim
- Warmth and Comfort
- Driver Assistance package
- Heads up
- Premium package
- Night view assist
- 19” twin 5 spoke wheels
I debated upgrading to the 3D stereo, but I was unclear on how much trunk room I would lose. I have to have room for 2 large golf bags at minuimum. The pics I saw showed some loss of some space over the left rear wheel well, but other pics did not. Any thoughts or must have options? Should arrive around Christmas. Hohoho!!! Thanks

Do you give up your sunglasses holder with the 3D stereo? I saw some pics showing what looks like a tweeter in that area?
Does anyone with the 3D stereo have pics of their trunk? I keep seeing conflicting photos.

you do lose your sunglasses holder.

Congrats, everything is just nice on these cars aside from badging , that name 560 is nothing just reminiscent of 80's if it doesn't bother you or other owners that's fine though .I like 550 better than anything else

No. It has been done away with completely for a charging station for your key. I have the 3D sound system no CD player

please report back when possible on 2018 MBC enhancements vs your current car. Curious to see how much it has been improved.
I know you love it but got the impression from other forum owners that the 1st gen of it was hit or miss as to when it would work for seeing bumps etc in the road.

MBC in my 2015 S is noticably better than the standard suspension. I’m told it has been further improved in 2018.

I was able to order a 560-183 RWD a couple of months ago. Being built on November 14. The MB USA site is lagging behind.
Also, there is no carbon fiber trim / piano black option for non 63, 65 S class cars. The Build website is inaccurate on this option.
