Had my 3 year service done yesterday and they did the latest map update - N. America 2018 Version 11.0. Have not noticed any major changes yet except the colors seem different and better.

Had my map updated as well to the new V.11 and absolutely love the changes made to it especially how much easier it is to read the map. The screens now look much more seamless as both sides merge into one big screen (pictured). There is nothing like the 3 years of free map updates! Saves us $250.
This is what came on my 2018 S560. Is there a different version for the 2018. I can’t imagine the brand new 2018 is that many versions behind your update. Do I have a different version because the screen on the 2018 is different?

I received the latest (2018 V. 11) navigation software for my 2015 S Class (W222) and the real-time traffic is not active, nor is any messages or postings associated with traffic. All are grayed out except "Read traffic notifications". No Traffic Icon on the display. My Sirius XM is active with traffic subscription. Took to dealership, they replaced command, no resolution; they replaced satellite module, no resolution. The dealership put in a (service request to MB R&D) with no word yet. They've had my car for a month! Has anyone else been told that MB is working on a "fix" to this problem? I do see some in the forum have gotten the update with no traffic problems.

Same problem. No 3 d icons and map looks like something from 20 years back. No graphics. No weather or traffic. Going back to dealer Monday.

hi. I just had my update done on my 2015 and have lost all the 3 d images. Have u seen any problems with yours.
I bought a new 2015 C250 and it is now 2018 and I have not had any notice to bring my C250 in for map updates. Is MB supposed to call me in for the update?
After months of waiting MB sent a patch to update the real time traffic and low and behold, it worked brilliantly! Even with real time voice messaging about the accident that was about 15 miles ahead of my trip. All is well now.
My 2018 S560 Still has the original maps V11 that the car came with. I'd asked a few dealers for an update since new and was always given the answer there are no updates so I pretty much use online maps either google or apple as the 2018 built in maps in the car are 7 years out of date at this point and some things with roads have changed. MB really blew it with the cars that were tom tom map supported and shortly after I bought the car the live feature was no longer available either.

Stock navigation systems are completely antiquated and mostly useless these days. That's why most new cars no longer have that feature but instead have Carplay/Android Auto compatibility as stock equipment.
I like having the option of built in maps as what if there is no cell service? My 2025 e450 has a good built in nav with ota updates. I just don’t know why Benz gave up with updates on my 2018 S560. What there now is not bad it’s just that it’s way out of date. Maybe something to do with the stupid Tom Tom maps Benz used for that short period of time there is no practical way to update those maps with the maos used on the newer cars I dunno.
