2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
Do you guys in the USA worry about if you have an order and the 25 percent Tariff thing on euro cars is enacted?, that could push the price on a 120K car up 30 grand or so, scary.

I did ask him to crunch some numbers a few weeks ago and at that time he said base MSRP was established but not some of the options. I am hoping I get some sort of discount too. I know with preorders in the past they have not been as good as buying something off their lot.

Are you getting pricing yet on your 2019? I have not heard yet from my sales person about the car I am waiting for and hopefully will be released next week.

Kathrine, I got the MSRP for my 2019 S450 4 Matic way back on July 12. Mine cam out to $108,495 including the options (no change in cost for the options from the 2018). There was an increase of about $1,200 for the base price over the 2018 model. The dealer is giving me just under a 10% discount and $41,500 for my 2014 S550 4 Matic with 52,000 miles on it. Plus, I just received an email the other day that I qualify for a $1,000 certificate discount from MBUSA. So, I guess I'm getting a fair deal. I sure hope the S Class vehicles are released next week from the VPC.

Wow that seems like a really good deal all around. I may ask my SA again about the pricing. At this point, I am very much hoping the car will be released this week and we will be done. I did get a nice trip to LA with my current S550 this weekend. I drove by Long Beach and waved to my car on the way home. ROFL.

Just make sure everyone uses the $1,000 that is being given to anyone who has bought or leased a MB from 2012 thru July 31st...
you can use it towards the purchase or lease on anything new 2018/2019 until Oct 31st which we will all have our cars by then.

Fingers crossed they somehow speed up the sched!
I saw a video posted online yesterday of what seemed like the first 2019 CLS review in North America. Had a Georgia # plate on it too. Made me wonder how it was approved to be driven and tested when none of the 2019s have been regulated yet.
But hopefullly indicative of some progress.

Dealer told me MSRP on my S450 is $112,575. Hopefully, they will give some discount once the vehicle is released.

Surprised you did not have the discount already established. They might end up giving you like 2 percent off the car when you could have got 6 to 8 percent off.

I have my MSRP already but they have not released the 2019 numbers for leases yet so there is not much to do yet...

And at least in California, you have no commitment to take delivery on an ordered car so in some sense the dealership is the one at risk since. You can just walk away from the deal if the terms are not attractive and get back your deposit.

Here in Canada there is a drop dead date and once we go past that date, you lose your deposit!

i think any 1st year law student here in the US would take that case... if they can’t deliver the car on time, you can get your deposit back.

I suspect that is a different beast altogether in the US then. Yes, if they breach the contract you'll get your deposit back. That said here in Canada there is not a drop dead car delivery date. It's more like a..."you'll get this car in a few months". It's not a binding clause.

California hasn’t approved any Diamler cars since Monday (C-Class). In fact CA hasn’t approved a single car in the last two days
