Lowest possible Price for a new S Class
Hi all. we do shows with our Maybach and the price of the car often comes up with people. With that in mind I decided to go to the Mercedes web site and build out a new S Class with ONLY the items I feel I would REALLY want. The idea was to see how inexpensive I could get a new car for.
I choose the six cylinder S Class and I ONLY added a few options. One is the Burmeister 3d system because having it is priceless, Two is the Magic body control because again it makes for a nice ride. Three I choose the front seats with the massage. Finally I choose all the auto drive equipment.
The end result was just in the neighborhood of $110,000.
As I said I only choose options I have grown to love and would not want to live without. The rest of the stuff that my car has is NOT something I desperately need so to say.

Am I missing something? What is the point of your thread? Also, you “do shows” with your Maybach? What kind of shows? Just curious.

I thought I was clear. The point was if I was looking for the lowest price s class with the most important features to me that I would recomend if someone who is price conscious.

Now, please tell us about doing “shows” with your Maybach. I don’t think anyone on the W222 forum has ever mentioned doing a show with their car, so I’m sure that many here might be interested to know more about what you do with yours.

You know, I drove the S450 before I got my S560 and I must say that I was very impressed. But, I can afford the V8 and I like the seemingly effortless, utterly smooth power delivery of the V8, so I got it. I will say that if cost had been a big issue, that I definitely would have gone with an S450 with MBC and Driver’s Assistance, before I’d go for an S560 without those features.

So I wrote this article because my car has just about all the options you can get on an s class so figured it would be good to share perspective. Furthermore my guy and I started to put the car in car shows and it often gets a ton of attention to our surprise. It also seems to get trophy’s so it just gives us something to do on our road trips. Our current road trip is to Naples Fl. tomorrow we do a car show at the Boston Red Sox South Ballpark.
One of the things the people often talk about when they are looking at the car is the price and I often tell those that are blown away at the price that it is an s class with eight inches. If they want a car that is pretty much the same, then a s450 is A great car.
i agree people often people do not do research. Currently we are considering ordering a AMG GTC and I want alll the options! Smiles.

That little red exclamation mark in the lower left corner of every post is there for a reason. Unwarranted personal attacks are just out of bounds.
You might not like someone's wheel choice. That's fine.
You might get information that's wrong. That's part of forums.
A person might not like whether your lean left or right. That's okay too.
When you are personally insulted, that's not acceptable. Report it. Keep it civil here. It's just a car.
