I don’t follow. Exclusive trim is exactly that; more wood inserts on the door handles and the rear of the front seats. If you have exclusive trim you have to have the wood.

I wonder if it is a mistake at the factory. Suggest you take it up with the dealer. What year is your car?

I think exclusive trim gets u the wood in the center armrest and side doors but i think there is extra option for wood behind front seats. Unless u get designo which will include it. I dont mind paying extra to get it but just wondering if anyone else has encountered this question.

If so, that is good because you should be able to get it for free...
Edit: i just checked the 2014 DOG, the only thing with designo woods (myrtle sunburst and metallised ash wood trim) is that the exclusive trim package was included (option 735).

Above is from a MY2015 DOG. It is internally inconsistent, and also appears not to have been followed in my case, because I have 731 trim (burl) but still have the seatback wood. I guess you would need a 2014 dealer order guide and to check that vs your trim type.

Not sure how much the trim pieces cost but you call the dealer for new ones or just check Ebay for used. I didn't see any trim but you could just grab a couple of complete seat backs with the wood included. The trim just snaps on/off.

Our 2015. If you look close at the driver’s seat the Affalterbach logo is just visible on the seat wood trim under the entertainment screen.

If you make me up and template out of paper I could get pieces made in piano black, carbon whatever. THose pieces from dealer are gonna be $$$$.
