S 450 4MATIC invoice prices
Hi all,
I am helping a family member with price research for his new car - he is planning to get a S 450 4MATIC, and I am searching its invoice prices (of different packages, etc) to get a basic sense of cost before negotiating with a dealership.
Is this data available anywhere?
Thanks!

Thank you both!
It would seem that the 4MATIC trim is really rare in the U.S. The salesperson pulled up inventory and there is only a handful in near-by states. After doing some research, I see that European Delivery (ED) would be a good option to build the car the way my family member wants (4MATIC and not a whole lot of jazz) - plus some sites also advertise 5% to 7% discount off MSRP via ED.
The salesperson didn't seem too enthusiastic about ED and said I will just need to build the car online on MBUSA. I went and built the car online, but the site then suggested me to contact local dealers instead - so do I work with the dealer or MBUSA on ED? It sounds confusing.

ED is good if not leased (ED leases use a higher MF). You can get 10% off (7% or ED plus 3% dealer discount). In general, invoice is not the bottom price. There is trunk money and discount programs and negotiations...

4matic availability depends on location. In the upper midwest you can't get anything but.

We did ED 5 years ago on a BMW, saved some coin and enjoyed the 2 weeks traveling Europe.

Darn - it would seem that S-class sedan is not available via European Delivery (seen here: https://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/enthu...s#all-vehicles) - does MB ever offer ED for S-class sedans?
