Does anyone have the issue of a rattling passenger seat backrest on not-so-smooth roads? I have this only when the seat is non-occupied. If there is someone sitting, then it is quiet as a mouse. My F10 had the same problem too, so I am starting to think that it is my luck...

Anyone with a similar issue? And if so, any remedies? It is a 2018 S560 by the way...

I think I have the same thing - haven't had anyone sit in the seat to isolate the issue, but I definitely have been complaining about what some seat vibration sound when on rutted roads

I noticed a similar rattling today and couldn't quite determine where it was located. This may narrow it down for me and I'll ck it tomorrow.

Well paint me stupid and call me Lucy, but my problem was simply the mount on my radar detector. The windshield must be slightly more/less canted and I simply re-mounted as in the old car. Drove me nuts finding it, but I did and MINE is not a backrest or other rattle. Back to being quiet as a church.

I have the same issue with my 2017 S550. Were you able to fix yours?

I discovered that once I put the rear right in chauffeur mode and back, the rattle disappears for some time (2-3 days for me, I am sure it is also a function of the roads I drive on). After that, rinse and repeat....

I had the same problem with my 2015 S550. Dealer replaced the passenger headrest under warranty. No more rattles. I suspect that it is caused by someone not using the seat adjustment buttons on the door to move the headrest up and down.
