Sensitivity of Gas Pedal in 2018 Maybach S560

I am new to Mercedes. I discovered a few days ago that my dream car is the 2018 Mercedes Maybach S560 with 4MATIC because I want all wheel drive and I don’t need the V12. What I am wondering is on the V8 S560, if the gas pedal is feather sensitive. Like you push it the tinest bit, and it nearly gives you whiplash. My friend had to put concrete bags in the back of his car (not a Mercedes) because it would spin out in the rain. Can I comfortably go from a V8 pickup to this car without losing control when trying to accelerate? I know it has all kinds of safety features and practically does the driving for you. What do others think? I drove a luxury car before that would really take off just pressing the gas pedal the smallest amount I could. It was hard to control. Or is this just something you get used to?
And how is the braking? Do you have to push hard to brake like my friend does with his fancy Buick?

No, not at all Mercedes' pedals have traditionally be stiff. It truly sounds like your friend just can't drive. A Buick is NO COMPARISON to a Mercedes. I would say take a test drive to answer all of this.

No, you won't have any issues that you mention. The S class series (and all Mercedes that I have owned) have always had wonderful tactile sensitivity to the brake and gas pedals, steering wheel input. You'll love it. The only car I've ever driven that is an accelerator nightmare is a 2010 Toyota Camry. That accelerator is downright dangerous. The slightest touch and it jerks you back.

If you are comparing the gas pedal in a 13 year old pick up truck to a new S Class you need to take a test ride at a Mercedes dealership.

You need to test drive it.
Maybach version has a modified throttle vs regular 560 to avoid accidental jerkiness and allowing a smooth take off without upsetting passengers.
Car is made to be a most cosseting limo after all, it's not an Audi S8 or RS7 that have to be feathered to avoid whiplash.

Nah. I didn't want to test drive if I would start to lose control like I did with a Lincoln luxury car.
I will test drive after I receive the brochure from the dealer.

I wonder too whether this is serious, how can you lose control in a underpowered Lincoln?
How can you even lose control in a 621HP S65 with all the electronic nannies watching your every step??

I mentioned I started to lose control, not that I lost control. When I was going around a turn and pressed on the gas the slightest bit the Lincoln swerved on me.
