Headlight cracking issues on w222
During my search, I am across many w222 with cracked headlight lens. More than usual from my experience, which was alarming. What’s going on, was this some kind of defect?

Where was your search, and what do you mean by more than normal? Not enough information for people to chime in..... Did you visit several dealers and actually see cracked headlights on several vehicles? What model car, S550....

Tiny cracks in headlight
I recently purchased a 2015 S550 with less than 17k miles on it. The car is in mint condition for the most part, however I can't understand why a vehicle that cost over a $110,000.would have tiny cracks in the headlights
The lights work just fine but I know I'm going to have to replace them soon because of the cracks and it's possible that one day it may lead to water damage to the interior of the headlights. (This lights are not exactly cheap either!
Does anyone have any info they would like to share on this topic?
