Yes to both of your question. MBrace can lock, unlock, turn on and off your engine through the Mbrace app. That is the best and most secure way to do it.

I don’t know what year MBrace started to offer the engine on and off function on their app. so one needs to confirm with MBrace.

I don't think it works with 2015 cars. It does work with the 2017 AMG GLE my girlfriend drives, but it is a pain to use, my dogs transport (2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee) has a button on the key, push it twice and it starts. You would think MB could manage that.

I have the Video in Motion, works Excellent! I plan on adding the 360 Camera on demand tied into the Curb Alert. It is so cool to have the cameras turn on when it senses a parking curb or object in front. I did not want it to activate below 5 MPH, in bumper to Bumper traffic, it would be annoying and cause unnecessary ware on the camera motors. Curb Alert, best of both worlds!

2015 S550 & 2012 E550 Convertible
Remote start for W222 on Embrace/Mercedes Me app does not come with a 2015 S550. I have this vehicle and sure wish it had the remote start! UGH
